1) Acceptance

By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site provides general informational and analytical content related to cross-border trade, customs, IOR/EOR operations, regulatory exposure, and operational risk. The Site does not provide legal advice, tax advice, customs advice, regulatory guidance, or professional services. You must obtain independent professional advice for your specific situation.

3) No Reliance

You agree that you will not rely on the Site as the sole basis for compliance decisions, transaction structuring, valuation methodologies, classification determinations, regulatory filings, or operational actions. Any reliance is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TFTIOR and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, penalties, seizures, delays, demurrage, storage, retroactive duties/taxes, or regulatory exposure arising out of or related to:

  • any reliance on Site content,
  • errors, omissions, or outdated information,
  • jurisdiction-specific interpretation or enforcement outcomes,
  • third-party content, links, or services.

If liability cannot be fully excluded under mandatory law, liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TFTIOR and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

11) Confidentiality / No Client Relationship

Contacting us via the Site does not create a client relationship, agency relationship, or fiduciary relationship. Do not send confidential or sensitive information through the Site unless explicitly requested through secure channels.

12) Force Majeure

TFTIOR shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, geopolitical events, regulatory changes, governmental actions, sanctions, embargoes, system outages, cyber incidents, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or failures of third-party infrastructure.

13) Governing Law / Venue

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall lie with the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan Courts), Turkey, unless mandatory provisions of applicable law provide otherwise.

14) Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

15) Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
